Meet the Coaches
Head Coach
Drew White
Drew White was named the Head Varsity Girls lacrosse coach during the fall of 2018. Drew brings an extensive lacrosse resume to the Wildcat program. A 3 time coach of the year in the OHSL Freedom League where he has developed and coached US Lacrosse All Americans and Academic All Americans. Prior to West Genesee he created the Fulton High School girls program into a top ten program in Section III where he had 98% placement of graduating student athletes into college lacrosse programs. Drew is also the director of Salt City Snipers Girls Lacrosse Club. A nationally recognized top club in the country that produces some of the best players from Central New York. Drew is an Under Armour All American Coach for Upstate NY. He currently resides in East Syracuse with his wife Gara and children Owen and Rileigh.
Assistant Coach
Riley Donahue
Riley Donahue became Assist. Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach in the fall of 2018. She credits success from the WG Program that helped developed her skills, both on and off the field. Riley was a two time state champ in her sophomore and senior seasons at WG. She was the 2014 All-CNY Player of the Year with All-American honors. Riley ended her collegiate career at Syracuse in 2018; leaving her mark ranked 9th on Syracuse’s all-time point list: 227 (143 goals, 83 assists). Donahue became captain during her junior and senior seasons, receiving 2 Tewaarton Award Nominations during those years. Riley later joined the Platform Lacrosse Team in Central New York; a program developed for training and conducting lacrosse clinics for both male and female athletes. She currently plays in the United Women’s Lacrosse League for the Boston Storm.
